SwissPass

SwissPass is the key to your mobility. This personalised card can be used to store, among other things, half-fare, point-to-point and BÜGA tariff association travelcards, including other services, and now also tickets bought from VendaAutomat machines.

SwissPass form as central element

Your SwissPass serves as a carrier, which you can add tickets bought from VendaAutomat machines directly to.

Do you still not have a SwissPass?

If you have not purchased any public transport travelcard yet, you can obtain a SwissPass free of charge from any public transport counter. Please bring with you an official identity document and a recent passport photo to order your SwissPass.

SwissPass as a key asset

If you activate the payment function, you can use the SwissPass as both a carrier and a payment method and pay conveniently by monthly bill. www.swisspass.mfgroup.ch (You can register in a separate window. It can be closed once the registration has been completed).

What does ‘activated payment function’ mean?

The technology behind new SwissPass cards makes it possible to pay contactless, easily and securely. Once you have registered for the new service, you can always keep an overview of your expenses in your online account and pay them conveniently by a monthly bill or in flexible instalments.

The first monthly bill by post is free of charge. If you would like to continue receiving the bill by post, you will be charged a fee of CHF 2.90. Electronic delivery of the bill is free of charge. You can change the delivery method yourself at any time in the SelfService portal. Administration fees already charged in January will be refunded with the subsequent invoice.

All details of the payment function can be found on www.swisspass.mfgroup.ch.

Old and new SwissPass cards

From 2022, only new SwissPass cards will be issued. They can be recognised by their reverse side being completely red (the lower part of old cards is white). The technology behind new SwissPass cards makes it possible to pay contactless.

Using an old SwissPass card to activate the payment function

If you use an old SwissPass card to activate the payment function, this will be detected by the system and you will automatically receive a new card. You can use it to access the payment function.

Using your SwissPass to access the VendaProfit discount programme

ChipCards and EASYDRIVE cards are going to be replaced as Venda, Graubünden's new ticket vending system, is being rolled out. The new discount programme is called VendaProfit. In three regions, you can get discounts on your personal ticket, which you can now add to your SwissPass. The only thing you have to do is to activate your VendaProfit customer account.
